Whole Dried German Chamomile Flowers
Ecologically grown and gently air-dried in our Whanganui garden studio, these whole German chamomile flower heads bring honey-sweet aroma, natural soothing compounds, and warm golden colour to small-batch skincare and making.
Hand-harvested at peak bloom and dried slowly without heat-bleaching or synthetic sprays, our German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is prized by formulators for its rich essential oil content and high-domed golden centres. Unlike commercially imported chamomile that often arrives crushed into dust, our whole flower heads stay crisp, aromatic, and intact on your studio bench.
Best Suited For:
Botanical Skincare & Oil Infusions. Steep whole heads in olive, jojoba, or sweet almond oil to create soothing infused oils for sensitive-skin balms, salves, baby care, and cold-process soaps.
Soap & Bath Making. Press whole golden flower heads onto cold-process soap loaves, scatter into clear melt-and-pour glycerin bars, or blend into calming oatmeal bath soaks and bath teas.
Candles & Wax Melts. Lightweight whole blooms sit cleanly on botanical wax melts, sachets, and outer pillar candle embeds (please follow standard fire-safety practices and keep botanicals clear of open wicks).
